Pat O`Dea

Project funding…marketing….strategic planning

Following a military based mechanical engineering and subsequent investment, marketing and construction career, Pat consulted on the introduction of organic printed solar panels and sun tracking fresnel mirror solar concentrators into Australia in 2000s.

The technical advantages and financial viability of these then rigid cost base technologies was forecast to be overcome by the emerging plunging cost of mass produced solar panels and ancillaries.

This was the catalyst leading to  AES, which from 2009, facilitated multi MW of solar PV installations to the manufacturing sector under the then Government incentive schemes, and to the monitoring and consultancy firm, EnergyAutomation Pty Ltd.
